These terms govern your use of Retro Scout. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.

What Retro Scout provides

Retro Scout offers curated information about nostalgic and culturally significant places. Information, status labels, access notes, maps, and directions are provided for discovery and may become outdated. They are not a guarantee that a place is open, safe, lawful to enter, or accessible.

Visit responsibly

Obey signs, closures, property boundaries, local rules, and instructions from owners or authorities. Do not trespass or use Retro Scout to harass, damage, endanger, or interfere with people, places, or wildlife. Confirm current conditions with authoritative sources before visiting.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and tell us if you believe your account is compromised. Do not probe or disrupt the service, evade security controls or rate limits, impersonate others, submit unlawful material, or misuse support and correction channels. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect the service or others.

Content and external services

Place descriptions and organization are provided by Retro Scout. Photos, videos, maps, and linked sources may belong to their respective owners and are subject to external terms. Attribution or a link does not imply that a creator, venue, or property owner endorses or participates in Retro Scout.

Corrections, ownership, and removal

You may submit factual corrections, historical material, ownership or representation information, and removal requests without an account. Submitting a request does not guarantee a specific outcome, but it places the matter in the private curator review queue. Only submit material you have the right to share.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, Retro Scout disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, external sites, or visits to listed places. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be limited by these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Retro Scout changes and will revise the date above. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the service and delete your account. Use support for questions or place-specific concerns.
